TREKKING - C L I M B I N G
PISCO CLIMBING TOUR
AIPCT
You
travel from the capital city of Lima to the city of Huaraz in the
north of Peru. After a couple of days of seeing the sites and acclimatizing
you embark on a high-altitude trek that leads you through The Cordillera
Blanca with, as the climax, the ascension of Mt Pisco, surrounded
by the prestigious summits of Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Alpamayo and
Huandoy. You do a loop around the Santa Cruz Valley and return by
the untamed “Quebrada Huaripampa” until Colcabamba, coming
down again by the “Quebrada de Llangananuco” to reach
Pisco base-camp. From there you attempt to conquer Pisco.
