White Water Rafting, Mountain Biking and Trekking
TOTAL ADVENTURE
AITAV

This tour starts in the capital city of Lima and travels to the Imperial City of Cusco where you start your adventure. Four days of white water rafting on the Apurimac River gives you a unique view of the area. A two day mountain biking trip takes you through part of the Sacred Valley and allows you to visit some interesting sites there. Then, after a day tour to the famous site of Machu Picchu, you take a five day trek to the site of Choquequirao.

This is a rugged, remote trek which leads you through a diversity of climates to reach this archaeological complex, stronghold of Manco Inca. Legend has it that the Inca rebelled against the Spaniards and, taking all the gold and treasure that he could lay his hands on, set off into the jungle to found a new nation. The rough terrain makes this a physically challenging but rewarding trek. When you reach the plateau of Choquequirao (3000m), with its impressive views of the Cordillera Vilcabamba, you will feel that you have reached a land that time forgot.
