the airport. From here you will take a 35 minute flight to Boca
Manu. Once there, we will head downstream on the Madre de Dios

Rising early, we board our motorized canoe for the 25 minute journey
to the mouth of the River Blanco. Here we transfer to dug-out
canoes and our Native guides will paddle us up this beautiful,
small tributary of the River Madre de Dios. As we paddle, we
will look for Monkeys feeding in the liana-festooned trees which
loom overhead, and will also encounter numerous water birds including
probable sightings of the cumbersome Horned Screamers. If you
are lucky you may also see the Giant Otters on a fishing expedition.
We return to the Centre for lunch and then there will be time
to observe the jungle life from one of our 35m tree platforms.
