This short tour gives you a chance to view the Peruvian landscape as you travel between Lima and Huaraz. In Huaraz you will have two days of exploring and enjoying the scenery, as well as guided tours to the site of Chavin and the Llanganuco Lakes.

Itinerary

Day One: LIMA - PARACAS

This morning you will be met at your hotel by your driver and the private transport for the journey south of Lima, This is a 4 hour ride and gives you a good opportunity to view the coastal scenery, fertile valleys, deserts, along the Pacific Ocean. Once you arrive to Paracas check in your hotel and then visit of the Natural reserve of Paracas. (meals on your own). Return to your Hotel

Day Two: PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS - NASCA

An early departure to catch the boat in direction to the islands of Ballestas, sea lions, cormorants, Humboldt penguins, Inca terns and many other species of birds in sight. Return to Paracas to continue our trip towards the south. Huacachina is our next stop where you can enjoy and relax having your lunch, then you will continue your journey to Nasca, 3 hours drive take us to heart of the Nasca Lines. Meals on your own

Day Three: NASCA –CHAUCHILLA

Pick up from your hotel to start your tour to the interesting Chauchilla cementery, also you will be visiting the local Gold extractors, also the ceramic work-shops, where the locals have achieved the skills to copy the art of Nasca pottery. Meals on your own.

Day Four: NASCA LINES–BUS TO AREQUIPA

Today you will be flying over the Nasca Lines during the morning, this 40 minute flight gives you a good idea of the size and splendor of the lines and designs, only possible to be seen from the airplane. Then you will have time to explore and relax in the city before taking the evening bus to Arequipa, 9 hours ride in a comfortable couchette type bus take you to the city of Arequipa, where you will be meet early in the morning the next day at the bus station and transferred to your Hotel.
