RIVERSIDE INCA TRAIL
RIVIT

The Vilcanota River Hike

An alternative to the demanding and busy "traditional" Inca Trail, this easier Inca trail leads you along the riverbanks and through the mountains and eventually to the magnificent site of Machu Picchu. There are a lot of opportunities to bird watch and enjoy nature during this hike, as well as view several ruins situated along the path. In the days leading up to the trek, you will spend your time with a knowledgeable local guide who will show you the common and not so common sites in Peru.

Itinerary

Day One: LIMA

You arrive into the international airport in Lima and are met by your Tour Conductor. Your tour conductor will be traveling with you for your entire tour and will speak both English and Spanish. You are transferred from the airport to your hotel in Miraflores.
